Opus is looking for a senior VB -Net Web Developer to join a well-established and growing company based in the Southampton region- This exciting role will involve developing innovative new features and improvements and developing new websites for clients` projects-
The Role
The VB -Net Web Developer will be passionate about -NET development and enjoy working within a team environment, have a passion to drive and motivate by example, have a proven ability to learn new skills and work on short sprints to meet tight deadlines- You will be developing websites, overseeing the maintenance of our servers and leading a team of developers to achieve the company goals-
Skills Required
- ASP-Net 3-5/4-x using VB-Net
- MS SQL Server 2008/2012/Azure including database architecture and optimisation
- Windows Server
- Visual Studio 2010/2012
- SOAP and Restful Web Services
- Configuring IIS 7-5 including URL Rewrite
- Version control systems
Bonus skills
- HTML, JavaScript, JQuery, CSS, AJAX, XML knowledge
- C#
