Temporary Tattoos - Safety Matters

Safety is usually the least of anyone's concern when it comes to temporary tattoos. If you're going to buy impermanent tattoos, you're usually after the design. You don't take safety into consideration. After all, it does look harmless.

What a lot of people don't know is there is a possibility for some of these tattoos to have harmful ingredients. This is why it's never a good idea to make your own. You should leave it to the experts. However, it's not enough that you approach just any manufacturer. If you want to buy these tattoos, make sure that you're going to buy them from a company who makes safety as one of their primary concerns. All you need to do is make your own temporary tattoo design, show it to a manufacturer and then ask them the following questions:

1. Are you using FDA approved inks?
You must be asking how the Food and Drug Administration fits in the picture. First of all, the FDA is a government agency directly under the United States Department of Health and Human Services. This means that it's concerned with your health. It's not advisable to make your own temporary tattoo because you'll never know if you're using safe ingredients. This should be your concern because your tattoos will come in direct contact with people. If you're using it for events with a lot of people, their safety is your concern. You want to raise their team spirit or raise funds. You don't want them to be in contact with materials not approved by the FDA.

2. Are you using non-toxic and hypoallergenic ingredients?
If you want to buy impermanent tattoos, you have every intentions of applying it to your body. You wouldn't want to put something on your body that can trigger an allergic reaction or worse, be toxic to you. This will be a bigger concern if you want to make your own tattoo design and have a company manufacture them by the hundreds because you're going to use it for a big event. You're organizing a big event because you want to raise team spirit or funds. You're not organizing it to have a group of people scratching their body on their way to the exit.

Now that you know these questions, safety now sounds like a big concern that you should have. If you want to make your own temporary tattoo, it can be a really big concern. All you need to do is buy these tattoos from a trusted manufacturer. Approach a manufacturer that can confidently say "Yes" to these two questions. If you do so, you'll have the peace of mind that you're not putting your event's attendees in danger with unsafe ingredients. You can have fun at your event because you know that everything's safe. You can then watch as the temporary tattoos raise the crowd's team spirit or help you raise the funds.
