If you are not moving forward in life then you are moving backwards. Life is a journey, an experience, not one of us is perfect, and not one of us goes through life without making mistakes. With that in mind we could all do with being a bit more outgoing, a bit more adventurous and a bit more daring. Sometimes little changes can make life changing revelations in your life that will have long term effects.Well for myself I decided that 2010 was a year when I would continue to develop rather than stay in the old rut and continue to slip backwards. I made a list of all of the things that I wanted to achieve in 2010, some personal, some work related and created an action plan on a piece of paper. One of those actions was simply to get a tattoo performed on a particular part of my body. In 2010 I would be celebrating a notable birthday and to celebrate that my journey had took me to this point I thought it would be poignant to mark it with a tattoo. After speaking to some friends who performed tattoos or had tattoos themselves, we started to work on a design that would be fitting and work out the tattoo supplies that we would need to perform the task. I was staggered at how much preparation had to go into ensuring that we had the appropriate tattoo supplies in stock, I had always just assumed rather stupidly that it was just ink and needles. How wrong I was. I must admit as we continued to order the various different tattoo supplies from the store online it all started to become increasing real. This was to be my first tattoo and I had obviously heard all of the horror stories from friends who generally had never even been near a tattoo shop in their lives, but I was reassured from my friend who would be performing the tattoo that they were ordering quality authorised tattoo supplies and I had nothing to fear, it would merely be like scratching yourself repeatedly.A week passed as we waited for the tattoo supplies to arrive and then the moment of truth was upon me, my friends finally got the chance to butcher my body as they said jokingly with a smile. To be honest the tattoo was certainly not as bad as it was made out to be by my negative friends. I think there in itself is a lesson in life, don't take other people's word for something go out and experience it yourself then make your own mind up.

Tattoos, Tattoo Supplies And Living Life To The Max
