Creating a tattoo can be fun. It is human nature to be curious and to learn the things that we don't know. Creating a tattoo yourself is not that challenging and can be done by almost anybody, provided you use the right equipment. Here are the steps required that would help you create your own tattoo.

1) Get the design first: Before you can create a tattoo, this the most basic step. You may want to print a design from an online gallery or make it yourself. If you want to make the design yourself it is best to make the same using any designing software as it will already have the basic design elements as well as tools needed for easily creating such designs. If you are a good artist however, you can also draw by your own hands.

2) Create a design stencil: A stencil is basically just a paper cut-out that defines the overall shape of the tattoo. To create a stencil for a tattoo you would need to do the following:

В· Take a transfer paper and attach it using tapes to a carbon paper with its ink side facing towards the paper.

В· Put your design on top of the carbon paper and start tracing it using a pencil.

В· Carefully cut the design from the transfer paper, leaving about an inch from each edge.

3) Applying the transfer paper on your body: After the stencil is created, apply a glycerin based deodorant to that area of the body where you want to the tattoo. This is done to make sure that the transfer paper properly sticks to that part. The next step is to simply stick the stencil on that part and to keep rubbing it vigorously. Rubbing is best done by using a rounded metal object. For example the rounded edges of a padlock suit well to this purpose.

4) The final steps: Of course now all that remains is to trace draw the tattoo so inscribed using a more permanent ink like henna paste or standard tattoo paint. You may also choose different colors of your choice as well.

These are the steps that are needed to create a tattoo. Care should be taken however that the ink that you are using is of standard quality and does not affect your skin. The same applies to the deodorant you would be using. Make sure that it does not cause any allergic reactions when applied.
