Five Huge Tattoo Mistakes You Could

Easily Make Today

Number one: Something I wouldn’t do sober. If you wouldn’t get a tattoo of your best
friend’s name on your ass sober, don’t do it drunk or under the influence of anything else.
To many people today make the mistake of getting intoxicated and then deciding it a
brilliant idea while under the influence of something else, to get a tattoo. Very bad idea,
you make like your best friend Danny tonight, but I assure you, your next encounter
Susie or John aren’t going to like what they find.
How embarrassing would that be? Oh yeah, me and some friends were having some fun,
and we decided to get matching heart tattoos. If you wouldn’t do it sober, don’t do it
under the influence.
Number two: I want a tattoo, but I don’t know what I want… So let’s just pick one off
the tattoo flash at the tattoo parlor. Not a good idea, just because an angel wings tattoo
sounds good there, doesn’t mean you’re going to love the angel wings tattoo a year down
the road.
So do some research, pick something close to your heart or something with meaning.
After all, this is a life long decision. Sure there’s tattoo removal, but it’s painful and
expensive. So why spend money and put yourself through that torture? Do it right the
first time.
Number three: I chose a design; but will it be right for me? Okay so you picked a tattoo
design, how big do you want it? Where so you want it? These are all very important
questions; the good news is there is now special temporary tattoo paper that you can
purchase. So before you even get it done, before you make that life long decision, you
can test it out for a day or two.
See what others say, get opinions and make an educated decision.
Number four: Just because it’s cheap, doesn’t mean it’s high quality… Where did you
get that idea? Look, when it comes to a tattoo, you can not spend to much on it, this is
something you will carry for a life time. Make it count. If you spend a very small amount
on it, then don’t have a huge fit when the tattooist misspells your girlfriend’s name, or
your angel wings tattoo becomes a dog eating what looks like a flower.
Besides the fact that cheap doesn’t mean quality, the tattoo parlor may not adhere to
standard health codes. If you don’t know, when you get a tattoo they’re stabbing through
the epidermis and leaving ink in your skin; meaning you are left with infection or worse
from anyone else who may have had that needle used on them prior.
Number five: Now this one is important… You got the tattoo, but you don’t give it the
care it needs. Tattoos are a step above probably every other little scrape or bruise you’ve
ever gotten, therefore, they need a lot more care. You need to keep the area clean, and
give it air from time to time.
Make sure it’s covered, that you follow the tattoo artists’ information for proper care;
given to you once you’ve received the tattoo.
You don’t want an infection do you? If not, make sure you keep it clean!
