When you get a tattoo it can be very exciting. You will have something on your body that represents a part of you. Sometimes, though you just want to test things out before making it permanent. This is where tattoo transfer paper comes in. You can also use this same technique to make a permanent one if you wish to as well. Read on to find out how to use tattoo transfer paper right away and impress everyone.

First, you will need to run the line drawing through thermal-fax or a thermographic transfer maker. This will help you get the precise duplicate of the drawing that you are interested in. This has also been called a carbon copy.

Next, let the person see it to make sure this is what they want. This is also a great time to confirm any modifications that should be done.

Then, moisten the skin where the tattoo will be placed. You can do this with soap and water. If you would like you can even do it with a stick of deodorant.

Slowly, move the transfer paper on to the wet skin and press very gently. The paper should not shift during this process or the drawing will not transfer properly. If this shifts in any way, you will need to remove it and start once again.

You should gently pull the paper off the skin. You should see the line drawing on the skin in a bluish tint. Do not worry this will eventually wash off. This is all a part of the process when you learn how to use tattoo transfer paper.

Make sure the design is in the right location and is the correct size. This should look excellent upon completion.

Now, you are free to start tattooing at will.
