Make Money With Tattoos

A growing trend in today's society is to get a tattoo for the sake of endorsing a product or service. It may seem bizarre to get a tattoo that essentially turns your body, or part of it, into a marketing strategy, but the decision to do so is up to the individual, and society should not judge an individual solely due to the fact that they have an endorsement on their body. Perhaps one individual may judge another, depending on what was endorsed, but that is a different story.

An individual may get this kind of tattoo for supplemental income, to advertise for their own company or a company they love, or simply for a product or service that they truly do support. It is, in a sense, an entirely new kind of tattoo, one that is far less common than more traditional tattoos that simply speak to what an individual likes, values, or cherishes. One example of a more altruistic endorsement came from a woman who got a tattoo endorsing a restaurant on her forehead in order to raise money for her son's education. On her forehead! That is quite the sacrifice. She now has a permanent sticker on her fore head (just text, not even an image, mind you) that everyone will see, all in the name of her child.

The main reason to get this kind of tattoo is obviously for money. It is a way to sell your skin to the highest bidder. Sometimes, it may only be a free tattoo you are getting, but most of the time a company participating in this kind of advertising will pay for it. If you are interested in doing this, make sure you go through the proper channels. You can't just walk into a tattoo parlor, get a tattoo, and expect payment for it. You have apply through the company, have paperwork signed, and be approved before doing so. Otherwise the company will most likely refuse to pay you, but be appreciative for their free advertising.

Some popular tattoos that endorse companies (and possibly pay a decent amount) include Google, Nintendo, Ford, Heinz, Guinness, Popeye's Chicken, McDonald's, Dell, and Golden Palace restaurant. Be advised, people have been seen with these tattoos. That is not to say that these people were paid by these companies. Whether they were paid or did it of their own free will is unknown. But, if you are a big fan of any of these companies, and you would like to make some extra money, you may want to contact them and see what they will offer you!
