Do you have a tattoo and want it erased? If so, then you should not feel embarrassed or weird about it. Almost 50% of those who have tattoos actually consider tattoo removal. For whatever reason you might have, wanting to have your tattoo erased from your body can be understandable. One thing you should consider, though, is the cost of tattoo removal as it can differ much depending on the means you choose.

Your Options

You can have some options when it comes to removing your tattoo.

1. The first option is to use laser treatment. This involves the breaking down of tattoo ink particles into smaller ones until they are no longer seen much on the surface. A laser treatment would require you several sessions so you have to be prepared of the costs involved. You will have to pay more when you choose to have it done in a dermatologist's clinic than a tattoo parlor.

2. The second opton is home tattoo removal using fading gels or creams. There are now creams and gels which aim to fade the tattoo slowly over time. While this is not the instant solution, it can be a very good choice if you do not want to spend as much as a laser treatment or if you do not want to experience any pain during the process. The cost of tattoo removal using fading creams or gels would depend on how much you would use. This would also depend on the size of the mark that you want to fade out.
