Most people never even think about the quality of the printable tattoo designs they're seeing. This is not a good trait to have if you plan on picking artwork that you'll be fully, 100% happy with once it's inked on your body. There are two main things you need to look for when clicking through printable tattoo deigns, and if the artwork does have those two traits, it's time to move away from that artwork website.
Let's get right to the first trait: The artwork needs to be fresh and at least semi-original. This is a big one, because so many galleries out there love to stuff their pages with as much artwork as humanly possible. This might sound like a good thing in theory, but the exact opposite is true. It's horrible, because the places that throw tons and tons of printable tattoo designs on their pages tend to be packed with generic junk. These sites don't really care about the quality of the tattoos they present to people, so they don't take out the cookie cutter stuff.
Unless you want a cookie cutter tat, it's best to move away from those terrible galleries. Next, you should also stay away from the galleries that are filled with flash artwork. You probably know what flash artwork is, but if you don't, it's a design that is very colorful, vibrant and doesn't really look like "true" artwork. It may look very pretty on paper, but those types of printable tattoo designs never, ever look as good once it's inked on your skin. They almost always look drastically different, and not in a good way. So many people bring these great looking designs into their artists and are completely shocked with how awful the tat looks once it's finally on their body.
Those are two of the biggest things to look for when picking printable tattoo designs, which can make a huge difference in what you ultimately pick.
