Now-a-days, people get tattooed just anywhere in their bodies. People choose places which are easily visible to others so that they can display their body art. Among those places there are definitely some painful places comparatively to that of others where pain is minimal. Though there such people also who are well habituated with getting inked and are least concerned about the pain associated with inking. But for starters, I may help you know some of the painful places which you may think twice before you start with your first tattoo.
The Foot
The feet area is filled with nerves terminations. So it may hurt while inking there. Now, by feet I mean the actual feet area and not the ankle. Generally people include the ankle area as well while talking about feet as both the parts are very close to each other. Some believe that the same intensity of pain is associated with the ankle while tattooing as with the feet. For your information, it doesn't mean either that the ankle will not at all cause any pain.
The Bony Areas
The areas which are closer to the bones are usually considered as more painful areas compared to others. If you try getting tattooed on the outer bony ankles it will definitely be a painful experience than if you get inked in a fleshier area. Other such mentionable sensitive areas are the behind the ears, i.e. the cartilages, the skull and the ribs.
The Butt
It is evident from various tattoo reports that the most painful inking area has been the butt! There are many people who may like to get inked on their butts. As I mentioned earlier that the bony areas are associated with extreme pain, so are the overly fleshy or flabby areas. That is the reason why the butt experiences so much of pain while inking. If you want to experiment the level of pain you may have to face, then you just use your nail tips to draw a deep line on your butt. Then follow the same technique on your shoulder as well. You can easily make out the difference between the pain levels. The one done on your butt is higher of a level than that done on the shoulder. If you are getting tattooed on your lower back, which very popular now-a-days, then you should know that he pains increases as it travel downwards
